About Us
Kogianes Mules & Horses has been in business since the early 70's.
George & Jackie Kogianes raise Foundation Bred Quarter Horses and Foundation Bred Show Quality Mules. We have a herd of approximately 35 AQHA Broodmares, 3 AQHA Quarter Horse Stallions, 6 Large Standard Jacks, several Large Standard Jenny’s and a few Shetland Pony Mares & Stallion’s.
We have various ages and colors available / Dun, Buttermilk Dun, Grullo, Buckskin, Palomino, Roan etc..
Our horses and mules are bred to be useful, dependable & versatile.
We take pride in raising excellent Foundation Bred ‘Show Quality’ Quarter Horses and Mules.
They are very smart, athletic, muscular, learn quick & have excellent minds and temperaments.
Our Quarter Horses are from the “Old Foundation” Bloodlines ie; King, Poco Bueno, Mr. 89'er, King Fritz, Leo, Doc Bar etc. Most are eligible for the Foundation Registry in the high 90's percent range.
Our Mules are also from “Old Foundation” Mares & Large Standard Jacks.
They have nice heads, unique colors & markings. Most of them mature to 15 - 15 ½ hands, making an excellent size saddle mule.
George has shown our Mules in both Halter and Performance. He & his mule “Harvey” won the “Grand Champion” award in Halter & Performance. He held this award in Utah and the surrounding states, for numerous years. (Harvey & George Take 1st Place)
We have raised mules with “High-Speed” index on the race track. He and “Harvey” raced for many years taking 1st place in nearly every race entered. (Harvey & George Racing) |
